I Am One is a unique book that was written by a large family that has experienced this age many times over. It is written from two perspectives; the child's who sees everything he does as positive and innocent, and the mother's who loves her child even with all the daily frustrations that comes with the age. This book is simple and fun for one year olds, and provides some humor for the rest of the family!
This is a darling children’s book that will both entertain your child and give the parent a good chuckle. Recommend!
When our third child was one, our other two children would become frustrated with some of the things that he would do. I used the explanation, "He's one," over and over. When our fourth child was one, I realized that I was saying it again, and he was doing the same things that the others had done. It was then that I got the idea for our book. From then on (we're currently on our eighth one year old in twelve years) we said, "I am one!" whenever our one year olds did one of the "crazy" things that are typical for their age.
